Lot's of fine food to eat around the property, all well within an easy walk.
There's a pretty significant amount of Vagrants and Homeless folks. However, there is also plenty of security and police.
Overall, felt safe.
I would most certainly stay here again and highly recommend it."

"The place was perfect for our family of 4. I read other reviews that if you have Verizon you would have great signal and hot spot if you needed it which was true for us. As part of your stay they provide three bundles of firewood, smores kits, coffee, cocoa, and tea. A definite plus, which we took full advantage of. Fire starter and lighter sticks also provided. Place was clean, well decorated and had all the necessary amenities. Just enough space between cabins which gave the right amount...

" It's a nice hotel, but it might appeal more to an older crowd. Feels a bit like a retirement home rather than a modern hotel. Staff is friendly, location offers a beautiful view, but we found ourselves a bit bored. Didn't try the spa, so can't comment on that. It's located on the waterfront but near train tracks, so expect occasional noise. Rooms are well insulated though. Restaurant food is great, but service can be chaotic due to understaffing. Best choice if visiting Western University....
