This is the cloud forest and village of Nono, Ecuador where: I rode a horse in the clouds, got impaled on a tree branch, and was blessed by a lovely 100-year-old woman. An amazing little place near Quito for hiking, cycling, bird watching, horseback riding, and generally having your head in the clouds. "Everything about the Rincon was wonderful. Rooms. Spacious, clean. Restaurant by the pool had excellent casual fare. Did not get a chance e to try the more formal dining. Staff were courteous and very helpful. I left a shirt there and they kept if for me to pick up 5 days later. The hotel it self is absolutely stunning in architecture. Various rooms and areas to sit. Very reasonably priced. Would not hesitate to recommend. "
