"The age of the hotel and the way it was preserved was amazing, especially in such a small, out of the way town. The restaurant has excellent food and such friendly people operating and serving in it. "

"Beautiful setting, welcoming staff, great breakfast, and all amenities thoughtfully supplied. The only thing that was not perfect for our party of three seniors and a son was that the private bathroom for our upper floor suite was on the lower floor and was accessed by passing through one of the upstairs bedrooms, and down a flight of stairs and the downstairs common room. However, the description did note bedrooms upstairs and bathroom upstairs, so it was my fault in not noticing this before I made the reservation. Everything else was perfect."
