There are plenty of cheap and expensive options for food, bars, souvenir shops. There are sea lions right in the centre, great to watch. Most companies charge the exact same price for tours. No real negotiation. It's extremely friendly and safe.

This was a very relaxed chill vibe. We loved the people and the sea lions. There were several great restaurants. Enjoyed more than Santa Cruz.

I was there for a fishing trip, so was out all day. Loved the people and the area, not sure if it is for everybody. No frills, lots of sea lions, good food.

"The hotel is perfectly located in the center of town. The room had a balcony and hammock, overlooking the harbor and ocean. Daily housekeeping and fresh drinking water were provided. Breakfast was basic but adequate, as is typical of South American hotels. We had an afternoon ferry, so we had access to the pool, towels, and coffee and tea. There were two pools, and a pleasant garden."
