"We really enjoyed our seven night stay at the Berkeley Hotel from the moment we arrived. On arrival we were greeted by Elma who booked us in and gave us a warm welcome before recommending somewhere to eat nearby as we had arrived quite late.
The room was a very good size with a large clean bed, a small balcony with table and two chairs and a well laid out bathroom with walk in shower. We received two small complimentary bottles of wine on arrival and put them in the rooms good sized refrigerator.
Breakfast at the hotel was excellent with a good choice of food including cereals, yoghurts, fruit, cheese, meat and bread as well as hot food including sausage, eggs and bacon. The breakfast staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, Lidija deserving special mention for remembering what drinks we liked and even what size cups/mugs we liked them in.
The hotel is located around 40 minutes steady walk from the Old Town but is on the route of No.3 and No.8 local busses (a €2.50 ride each way) and was a short walk from a supermarket where you could buy snacks and alcoholic beverages for your room at good prices.
On our last day we were not due to be picked up for the airport until 17:45 so the evening before Elma spoke to her manager (Maria I think) and organised for us to use the room for the full day, she really did go above and beyond.
I would highly recommend The Berkeley Hotel for your visit to Dubrovnik, we found it met all our needs and more."
"We only stayed for one night as we were leaving early the next morning to fly home. The property was very clean and safe. The owners were extremely helpful and the husband drove us to the airport at 4 am. Enjoyed our brief stay. "
"Location! Location! Location! Minutes from bus station and port. Quiet! Stayed a week and it was perfect. Bus to Old Town is less than 10 minutes away. Would defiantly stay again if I went back. Highly reccomend! "
"We stayed here 7 days it was great very nice apartment family owned. Free parking which is necessary in Dubrovnik. Bed was very comfortable which is number one and first place that had Netflix which made us very happy. The bus into town was a 2 min walk and super easy there is no parking in old town but bus runs 5am-1 am and uber is only 9 eu all day.
Kitchette and bathroom were very nice and clean. We would definitely stay here again "
"Amazing well appointed apartment, huge rooms with a handy kitchen for us to make breakfast before setting out for the day. Quiet location with some amazing views of the port just down the road a little. We walked from the port up to the apartment and it is steep! But apparently it is easy enough to get a taxi or bus up. "
