A short drive to Jackson to get away from the big city bustle. We stopped at several shops, had our morning coffee at Boilerworks Coffee, had some great eats at Luka's, and had a blast at Jackie's Hideaway. You can't beat the small town vibe.

Things are mellow and not much night life at all, but that's what adds to the historic, down-home beauty of Jackson. Lots of interesting history, beautiful countryside, and god-hearted people.

There are a couple of nice places that we stopped at in the old town. We have been to the casino at Christmas and that is nice, and Sutter Creek is nearby which is very Quaint little town.

"My favorite place to stay in Tahoe so far. The staff is friendly, the free breakfast is great, rooms are clean, and the location is perfect. It's a quick walk to Heavenly Village. We would definitely stay here again. "
"The hotel located at heavenly village, walkable from heavenly gondola and the shops at heavenly village. Very convenient, lots of restaurants nearby. The room is clean and pretty good size. We enjoyed our stay."
"Overall experience was very good. Near lake tahoe I dont think there are very modern facilities in CA side. This is an old building but the rooms are well maintained. One small tight Elevator. Parking is tight for big cars if you want shaded garage spaces. but open parking is also available. Rooms are Big and spacious. Bathrooms are clean. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. "
