"Highly recommend staying at Iris Han Hotel especially if your visiting Istanbul for the the 1st time. The location is excellent for walking to the major sightseeing sites in Sultanahmet and you can also walk to Eminonu where you can access all the ferry ports. The tram lines are also a few minutes walk away. The hotel is small but very welcoming and clean we enjoyed our 5night stay here, and the staff are just expectional. They were very helpful in letting us use the phone for some calls and printing out a document. Clean room with a comfortable bed. We were on the first floor and could hear the trams but were not too loud. Breakfast spread was decent, but some fruit was mouldy on the first day. "
