The lobby and hallways could be cleaner and need updated, the hallways to guest rooms had stick on carpeting squares that would catch on luggage, housekeeping carts, and shoes, causing people to stumble.

"Went to Traverse City for a couple of days. Didn’t want to spend a fortune so chose this hotel. It’s not horrible, it’s just REALLY dated. Staff was nice, breakfast is offered, pool is nice, location is ok. Rooms aren’t cleaned which is ok. I’m just tired of paying so much and getting the bare minimum. Not so sure I would recommend. I guess I’d pay more and get a newer hotel. Sorry HoJo "
