"Very friendly owners who gave me some ideas on what to see and where to go, very helpful. Nice room, clean and has all you need for an overnight stay. I stayed up stairs with a view of the water. Property just out of town so you would need transport or Uber if you wanted to eat and drink in town. Would stay again, if I was coming back to South Africa."

Also, no wi fi in rooms for a 4 star hotel is not really acceptable. Poor conditions somewhat compensated for by the first class and much appreciated service from Petrus and some of his staff -especially chef and Thabisa."

each morning, a buffet as well as option to order. We had a car rental and went to several sanctuaries in the area. Spa was beautiful and relatively inexpensive. The grounds are kept exceptionally well. If you are in the George/Knysna area, this is a great choice for a hotel in a central location."
