We'd never seen so many white picket fences around homes and properties. The trees and landscaping are gorgeous and we met a nice couple on our evening stroll. They live in Beaufort and he knew about our town, Santa Cruz and UCSC.

We will be back to this quaint town. It is a so convenient location to other small towns on the water that offer various interests. Enjoyed being accross from where the wild horses lived.

Quiet little seaport. Everything is walkable. All the people working in the hotel, restaurants and businesses were genuinely friendly. A very relaxing and quiet experience. We visited at the end of March and plan to check it out in the summer.
"Check in by fair was the easiest I’ve ever had to do. Quick and front desk staff was extremely nice. Property is cleaner than most hotels we’ve stayed at and they offer bikes and beach carts to go directly across the street to the sand. If you’re lucky enough to get a room facing the bay you’ll see a beautiful golf course. Pool is great size and the loungers were great. Our kids loved the hanging chairs in the lobby. Breakfast while only two options was perfect for our family. There was even enough food options in the canteen like room to do a quick lunch before we checked out. Will be coming back and staying longer next time! "
"Property layout was great, views of the ocean from room. Bar and pool outside. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Restaurant on site. Would definitely stay again. Staff extremely courteous and professional. "
"This is not the Waldorf Astoria. But it's a good place that was clean and we'll staffed. The pool, while not huge was clean and enjoyable. The view from the back is fantastic with a great look down the cut to the sound. It's a reasonable walk to the beach and not too far to the main Atlantic Beach Oceanfront (aka "The Triangle"). For the price, we were very pleased with the amenities. The only warning is that parking can be a bit snug, especially if you're driving a full size truck. And only one vehicle is allowed to park in the lot per unit. "
"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The service was truly excellent — warm, welcoming, and personal. Christina, the owner, was absolutely lovely. She spoke to us like old friends, and her kindness really made our experience special.
The room was clean and cozy, and overall we felt very comfortable during our stay. The only small suggestions we have would be to add a few more hooks in the bathroom for towels or clothes, a small table or shelf for toiletries, and maybe a couple more wall outlets for convenience.
Otherwise, everything was perfect. We’d definitely come back and highly recommend this place to others!"
