"The Henlopen was and always has been a great spot for us while on Rehobeth beach. You can’t get more convenient than this location! It is right on the boardwalk but far enough away from the hustle and bustle, so you have the best of both worlds. The rooms are spacious. Parking is a little tight for the hotel side… wis they had more parking options. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean. The ice machines aren’t very sanitary- prob my biggest complaint. And it wouldn’t normally matter but when you’re at the beach everyday, you want to keep your drinks cold. That ice is not clean enough to put into a glass, only a cooler. Overall we love it and will continue to go back!"
"The room was clean and great for the night. The halls were loud during the night with kids yelling.
The breakfast was excellent. Fully stocked, hot and delicious. The lady working was very friendly.
My 8 year old son got bread from a nearby Italian restaurant. Brought it back to the hotel. He misunderstood me saying we can ask the hotel (meaning at breakfast the next day) and asked the front desk clerk at 8 PM. She went in and got him plenty of butter for his bread. This made his night! He enjoyed his bread. Thank you to the wonderful worker who made his night!"
"Would definitely stay here again. First night our air conditioner unit was leaking terribly. Room still cold and was immediately fixed the next day. Very conveniently located, walking distance to everything. "
"I am beyond grateful for a wonderful birthday weekend at Staybridge! I am sure it was fully booked, or close to it. The room was exceptional. The bedding was CRISP WHITE, not one spot! Super clean, amazing kitchen and space for our family. Big shout out to the breakfast staff. The kind and patient staff had to deal with a huge rush every morning, a lot of teenage baseball players. The food was always stocked and the area was kept clean. I was impressed every single morning and know it was no easy task keeping up with that crowd! I hope to be back every year :)"
"I loved this hotel! I would go back again and again. The staff were very pleasant. Manager - Josh, very nice. The hotel lobby is beautiful - very modern. Rooms are well designed. Loved the pool, clean. Pool guy was out there at 7am straightening up & testing water. Parking was easy. Property is close to everything - great location. To me, you can't lose with this hotel. I like to give a comprehensive review, so a few critiques that are not deal breakers at all. Need housekeeping to make sure glass on balcony is clean - had a lot of children's handprints. The brochure on the hotel mentions the trickiness of tv remote. That is not an understatement. I would recommend swapping out all remotes as it was hard to access which l have never experienced with a hotel tv remote. l could hear the people next door like they were in my room at times. They were not being extra loud, just felt like there wasn't much of a sound barrier. Lastly, the smoking near the entrance was a little overwhelming at times. But none of those things would keep me from coming back. Love this place! Highly recommend. "
