Our family grew up in Spokane Valley and left 50 years go. We feel that Spokane has done a good job of maintaining a balance between town and city offerings. The River Front Park is a testament to its past (1975 world's fair) and its environmental ID

We liked the walk ability of the area. Along the river downtown we felt safe. Spokane has done a lot to update and keep downtown alive. There are diverse eating options in Spokane and some very familiar eating establishments are still in Spokane.

Spokane probably has the best downtown riverfront park in the whole country. I would put it up against any other city. The park is walkable, safe and beautiful. The downtown has good places to eat and shop. The Centennial Trail is a gem.

We rented a care and visited Riverfront for a day and had a great time. There is so much to do and see. Easy access, parked in a parking garage and walked to everything we needed to see. Very clean, friendly, and safe!

Spokane has developed the best Transit Authority bus system I have experienced worldwide. Hotels are a great value compared to coastal cities. Amtrak is central, but mammoth rail history has been erased. Homelessness is significant but seems stable.

Spokane is a great town- downtown area and park are really great. Great (men's) pro soccer team, too: Velocity. Definitely worth catching one of their games

Beautiful city that continues to grow in positive ways year after year. Used to live there decades ago, many positive changes since then.
"A great comfortable and resourceful hotel for those traveling to and from the airport. Even down to having scales to weigh luggage before flights. Very spacious room!"
"Great stay at the Oxford. Nice walking path along the river just off of the property.
Free drinks when we arrived and free breakfast in the morning.
Would stay there again. "
"Far away, this is probably the best hotel in Spokane, Washington. Cool historic vibe updated with moderate amenities. The staff is attentive and very professional. Sophia at the front desk and Harris, the valet, both fantastic and made my stay that much better. Additionally, the fitness room is modern and well maintained."
"Whenever we are in Spokane we make it a point to stay at the Davenport. We have looked at all the old photos over and over many times. It is such a beautiful hotel and the new bar and Emporium are a great addition!"
