The room and bathroom were very clean. It was a very comfortable room. The breakfast area was clean and the options would please the pickiest eater. The only thing I noticed was the lady in the breakfast area used the same cloth to wipe the tables and the chairs. "

Breakfast was typical. Processed and reheated options, but some seem to be enjoying it.
The only reason I didn’t give a better rating on cleanliness was the bathtub had a ring around it. Those will come off with some scrub and elbow grease. I almost took a soak bath but opted out when I saw that. "

"Hotel needs renovation. Bed was not comfortable. Plumbing not working well. Showerhead about to fall off. Longterm guests appeared to be living in the hotel.

"Great hotel with indoor pool and fabulous restaurant near lobby. Good dining options. Hotel is only 1 yr old and was surprised to see a little rust around shower door by floor. Will definitely be my go-to restaurant in Mattoon"

"It's a solid place to sleep with an acceptable mattress comfort level.
The room isn't anything spectacular however it did the job for a 2 night stay while visiting family in Illinois from Texas.
The breakfast was minimal with frozen items such as waffles and french toast that you have to microwave yourself.
The only real complaint that I have is that they do not stock hand soap in the hotel rooms. They use body wash as a hand soap. "

"For the price, my stay was as I expected. No coffee maker, but the bed was clean and comfortable, even though the bed spread had a 4 inch rip. They did give me a room with a king bed instead of a queen that I was charged for. No problem."
