Stafford itself isn't a destination, but there are several nearby towns with civil war history that had beauty, charm, and more of a destination vibe. Stafford was affordable though and in close driving distance to nice places and beautiful scenery.

The hotel was in the heart of the town, if you wanted to you could cross the street and go to Target, Buffalo Wild Wing, or even Dollar Tree.

We would stay again for a quick overnight on a road trip. Convenient location.
"The property was right off I-95. We felt safe and parking for a U-Haul was easy. The rooms was nice and clean. Slight musty smell from air conditioner and same in the hallways. Breakfast on the weekend could use more staff as there was wait for some items being cooked. The girl in the kitchen was alone and had many responsibilities. Sheila Lambert checked us in. She was great. Fixed an issue with Expedia. Overall a great stop. "
