Mohammed took me to a great leather shop with much better prices than the tannery. He also showed me an awesome restaurant at the end of the alley with great kabobs and couscous. "The hotel is well situated along a wide boulevard with lots of restaurants, shopping, etc. in the area. The room was very nice and had a great view. What I liked was that it was across the street from a shopping mall that had everything that I needed - from dining, shopping, etc. There is also a McDonalds across the street. The staff was courteous and kind. Transportation is very accessible being along a busy boulevard. Thank you for a wonderful stay. "

"Riad Mazar Fes is an oasis of calm and incredible beauty. The owner Hamid and staff were so kind and welcoming, giving us a tour of the exquisite palace (that’s honestly what it feels like) upon arrival, serving us delicious mint tea and breakfasts, and making helpful recommendations. We also dined in the Riad our first night and it was the best meal we’d had in Morocco. The rooms were spotless, comfortable and quiet and every bit as beautifully, intricately decorated as the courtyards. We loved waking up in the mornings to the gentle sounds of water in the fountain in the courtyard below. I don’t know if the photos of this place could ever do justice to how beautiful it is. Thank you to everyone at Riad Mazar for your genuine kindness and hospitality. Would stay here again in a heartbeat."
